  3. “Logan may be the Happy Maki Chef but we were the VERY happy recipients of everything Logan supplied for our 5-day visit to Isla. We spent a few days emailing back and forth before the trip about the preferences and limitations of our group (which included vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, carb free, and assorted other restrictions) and Logan was extremely accessible through this process, suggesting a variety of creative options and proving she was an excellent “listener.” When we arrived things were exactly as we had requested (including a wonderful assortment of house provisions – a necessity on an island) and Logan stopped by soon thereafter to prepare the evening meal and to make sure we had everything we needed. She proved to be a treasure throughout our time on Isla, offering to drop off additional items we might like, helping with restaurant recommendations, and sharing useful information about island life. She prepared an inventive and very “local” array of lunch and dinner items for us during our stay and her warm nature and generous spirit brought a wonderful energy to our group each time she was with us. 5 stars!”

  5. “We just spent 5 nights on Isla Mujeras and hired Logan and her team for 4 of the nights (based on the recommendation). To say it was good advice would be an understatement. Logan worked with our group to tailor our dinners to our specific interests without compromising her talents. Our favorite meals were the BBQ fish (amazing) and “taco night”, which was unlike any taco night we have ever experienced. The hardest part was pacing ourselves each night as course after course of incredible local flavors filled the table — from fresh salsa, grilled shrimp with mango, civiche, wonderful soups and salads.”

A very charming and talented person. Her food was exquisite. Very flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. We had several vegetarians and she accommodated all. All our guests raved about her food. She brought a staff who set up and cleaned up. We had our Welcome Dinner on the beach at Ixchel Hotel’s Palapa and didn’t have to lift a finger.   8. “Hola Logan! Logan is a dear friend of ours and though I have never hired her for her Chef services, I have had a home cooked meal at her house. Muy bueno!!! As a person she is a doll. Here’s a little story for you: Having met Logan on a previous trip we immediately were drawn to her charming personality. A few days into our trip my girlfriend started having severe abdominal pain. Having heard horror stories about visiting the hospital, we decided to call our new friend Logan. She came speeding over on her scooter, assessed the situation and called for a Doctor. He came over on the ferry and was there in our room in 30 min. Logan spent the whole day by my GF bedside while the doctor pushed IV’s and meds to my GF. She even made multiple trips to the pharmacia to get the meds for the doctor. She is not only an excellent chef but a truly kind soul the would go out of her way to help a friend in need.
